If you plan on entertaining, how many guests would you like to be able to accommodate? This will help, for example, the size of a back yard patio you will need.

Are you interested in sustainable landscaping such as rain harvesting (i.e. rain garden, rain barrel or dry creek bed), edible gardens, attracting wildlife / pollinators or composting?

A property survey, often showing the house, driveway, and property lines, or old construction drawings can be very helpful. Do you have any documents that may help us?
